Dr. Ryan Neinstein

Dr. Ryan Neinstein is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. After obtaining his bachelor of science with honors in genetics at The University of Western Ontario, he went on to obtain his Doctor of Medicine at the same institution. Dr. Neinstein spent time volunteering as a medic in Israel while an undergraduate student. His affinity towards science along with his interest in helping others drove him into medicine. While in medical school Dr. Neinstein became enamored with surgery and how technical mastery can deliver such dramatic and fulfilling results to the patient.

While in his 5 year Plastic Surgery Residency at The University of Toronto, Dr. Neinstein became actively involved in academic research. Dr. Neinstein published papers in areas including hand surgery, aesthetic surgery, breast reconstruction and pediatric facial fractures. His dedicated time to improving the field was rewarded with the Best Paper Award at the 2011 American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery Meeting. The goal of that research project was to improve outcomes for women undergoing breast reconstruction after breast cancer.

After his 5-year surgical residency, Dr. Neinstein was selected to become one of two fellows at the most prestigious aesthetic surgery fellowship in the world. During his time at the epicenter of aesthetic surgery, the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital (MEETH) under the tutelage of Dr. Sherrell Aston, Dr. Neinstein was trained in the most advanced Aesthetic Surgical techniques of the Face, Nose, Breast and Body. His other mentors included internationally renowned Plastic Surgeons such as Dr. Alan Matarasso, Dr. Daniel Baker, Dr. Nicolas Tabbal, and Dr. Gerald Pitman.

Dr. Neinstein is bringing his sophisticated Manhattan approach to Aesthetic Surgery back to his hometown of Toronto.
